Found it a bit hard to get a decent scan as the birds eyes are beads so it wouldn't lay flat!! the flowers at the bottom aren't actually on the pattern - just added them to make it look different!

Some RAKs I received

These are a couple of RAKs I received over the last couple of days from ladies on one of the forums I'm in. They're so pretty I thought I'd share - I love it when the postie brings nice things :-) Sadly the scan doesnt do them justice - they're even prettier in the flesh!!

Stitched card

Well, I haven't done any stitching for a while (must be 2 years lol) so thought I'd have a go after seeing Jo's http://fairymadjojo.blogspot.com/fabulous cards!!!

The fairy is meant to be facing the other way and not on silver card BUT after I'd pricked out the pattern and gone to remove it the white side of the card had a sticky black mark on which I just couldn't shift without making it worse..... so rather than throw it away and start again I flipped it over to the silver side and did her the opposite way!!!!

card for my stepdad

Not sure what but there was something about this card I just wasn't too sure about..... but as I was short of time it had to do - it was well received though and gave my stepdad a giggle so guess it wasn't too bad!! I think the main problem was because I was rushing it so didn't feel i'd given it my best - looking at it again now though it doesn't seem so bad lolol

Well, spent a long time pondering over this one and finally Laura decided we should have a dragon cos Daddy likes dragons. Was stuck for pics until I remembered this fabulous watercolour which Chrissy http://chrissymaries.blogspot.com/ had posted on her blog a few weeks back, and had kindly given permission for it to be used. So after searching around for backing papers here's the finished result. Thanks Chrissy for allowing the image to be used, it went down a treat and Daddy was thrilled with it

Vic's birthday card

This one's for my friend's daughter is 20 and the least girly girl I know so I wanted a card that was feminine but funky NOT girly!! The image is one I received from Sheila in the SBS16 image swap..... thank you Sheila it was perfect and came just at the right time! The backing papers I printed from canon scrapbook, sentiment is one I printed from the computer!

I'm on a roll...........

SBS Stamped Image Swap

Well, this morning I received my stamped images from the swap Sheila had organised over on SBS 16!! What can I say, I'm so thrilled, Sheila made a beautiful folder for the images, and the images are stunning! Thank you Sheila for organising the swap and taking the time to make the folders - and fill them of course! And thank you to my other SBS 16 sisters who joined in with the swap. I'm spoilt for choice now - don't know which image to use first!!!

Finally got a card made....

1 down, loads more to go hehe!! this is for grandad from the girls, still to do him one from Declan - then got Daddy's cards to make - and a birthday card for my friend's daughter who's 20 tomorrow!!! Here's hoping I get them all done and don't get another block!!!

lost my inspiration.......

can't believe its almost 2 weeks since i posted anything :-(
just don't seem to have had any inspiration so haven't made anything.... need to make father's day cards and haven't started lol - thats me though, usually do everything last minute!! think the sunshine's gone to my head and I need a kick up the butt!!!
will be hopping around and catching up with everyone's blogs, hopefully I'll get some inspiration and my creativity will return
