Delicious Doodles, Just Inspirational Week 24

It's week 24 already of Just Inspirational Challenge and this week we are sponsored by the fabulous Delicious Doodles

It's the turn of team A this week and the gorgeous inspirational picture was chosen by Erin

The image can be interpreted any way you want -  the image itself, colour, theme etc. The DT have made some beautiful creations to inspire you so don't forget to check out their blogs and leave them some love :-)

I chose to use Butterfly Bliss and decided to try to be more adventurous and use some stronger colours. I used promarkers and flexmarkers, with some stickles glitter glue on the butterfly. I didn't make a list of colours as I went, but will try to list them as close as I can remember

Hair: Henna, chestnut, flexmarker firebrick, burnt orange
Dress: Marine, turquoise, pear green, leaft green
Flower: Pastel blue, glacier blue, honeycomb
Butterflies: cornflower, royal blue

The papers are a free download, Carrie Stephens 'Spontaneous Delight' but I can't remember where the download came from :-/  Everything else is from my stash.

Bugaboo Easter card CCH#114

This is the card I made for The Crazy Challenge this week. The theme is Easter and sponsor is Bugaboo. Image is coloured with promarkers, added a few gems for a bit of sparkle, papers and ribbon border are from the paintbox poppets cd.

Wish I knew where this year was going! Can't believe we're so far into April already!! Think I need a 96 hour day, then maybe, just maybe I'll have time enough to do everything lmao

Just Inspirational Challenge

This week we're sponsored by the fabulous Saturated Canary. The DT were to be given an image to work with - the difficult part was deciding which one to choose as they're all equally amazing!!! Krista is one very talented lady!

I chose to use 'Party Hardy' coloured with promarkers and went with a red/white/blue theme. The DP is from Papermania Burleigh Blue Capsure Collection, ribbon and flowers are from my stash

I'm also showing a card which I entered into the Inked Paws 'Spring' Challenge.

The image is 'Serain' by Kelly Rhodes, coloured with flexmarkers and promarkers, papers are pink petticoat, ribbon from stash and butterfly diecuts some a friend cut me.
I'm really pleased with how this came out, Kelly's images are a dream to work with.

The Crazy Challenge #110

It was my turn to choose a theme for this week's Crazy Challenge and in a moment of what I can only describe as sheer madness I chose 'No Designer Paper' - now for some people that would be straightforward, but for a self-confessed paper addict it wasn't easy!!

The sponsors this week are Create with TLC and the DT have created some fab projects for inspiration. Here's mine - with no paper in sight!!

Image is from Create with TLC and my choice of image was definitely inspired by the lovely spring weather of the last few days. It's coloured with promarkers and flex markers, added some sparkle with stickles (if I can't have my paper got to have my sparkles lol) I used some flat backed pearls for the corners, and the centre of one of the flowers, ribbon and flowers from my stash, top blue flower is cut with marianne creatables english rose die.

Totally Stampalicious - Flowers
Simon Says Stamp and Show - Anything Goes

Blog Hop.....

Welcome to Just Inspirational Challenge's first ever BLOG HOP!!

You should have reached here from Annie's blog .

For my first card I used an image from Stampin Dragon Designs

I have to admit to having a very large soft spot for these little guys lol - the dragons are soooo sweet and perfect for all occasions :-D

I coloured my image with promarkers and added some stickles for a bit of sparkle. Papers, ribbons and flat backed pearls are all from my stash, the papers have been there so long I forgot who they're by lol been trying to not cut into them but finally gave in to temptation!!

For my next project I chose an image from Sassy Studios, more images I'm totally in love with lol! Again, image is coloured with promarkers, used an embossed background, but couldn't find a matching ribbon so coloured some white ribbon with aqua promarker to match the dress! Flowers and gems were from in a storage carousel I bought from create and craft and have held off using lol

Last, but not least I made a corner bookmark, using an adorably cute image from Di's Digis, again coloured with promarkers, punched with a Martha Stewart punch and added some ribbon - simple, quick but pretty :D

Well, that's it from me! Remember to leave your comments to be eligible for the prize draw, then head on over to the next stop which is Denise's Blog

All gone Steampunk.........

Over at Just Inspirational this week our sponsor is the fabulous Sassy Studio Designs.
If anyone's not seen these images then you're really missing out, they have some absolutely amazing digis and I love working with them. Our inspirational picture this week is 'Steampunk'
with the optional choice of working with a sketch designed by Kelly

Well, I have to admit my intial reaction was 'what on earth do I create that classes as steampunk?' It's a style that I've never actually worked with before, it's completely new to me and I definitely had to think outside the box and push myself out of my comfort zone for this one - thankfully my hubby's a little bit more up on steampunk than I am so was able to help me out in my hours of need lol!!

For my card I chose to work with 'Steampunk Josephine' coloured with promarkers, backing papers are a digi download from Digi Scrapbook Boutique. The cogs and clock face were diecuts I bought from ebay - then inked them and covered with pewter embossing powder and added a length of old chain to make it look a bit more steampunk lol!!!!! Considering there's not a flower, ribbon or speck of glitter in sight I'm really pleased with how this came out, might even consider doing more!!!

Don't forget to go and check out the rest of the DT's amazing creations - and this week sees some new additions to our talented DT

Challenges I'm entering this week:-

My Craft Spot - Anything Goes
Ditzy Craftymess - Anything Goes

For my card I used 'Hand-me-down's one of the adorable Saturated Canary ragamuffins, coloured with promarkers and flexmarkers. Papers and sentiments are a digi download 'Vintage Rose' from Pink Petticoat, which I've had forever and absolutely love for those soft coloured, pretty girly cards. Ribbon, flowers and card candi are from my stash, flowery border is my Martha Stewart punch, swirls are my favourite sizzix die lol

Just Inspirational Week 13

This is the inspiration picture over at Just Inspirational this week and our sponsors are StitchyBear

For this one I decided to be completely different and instead of going for the bright colours I went for black (from the background!) and white - with plenty of added sparkle to add some colour :D

I chose Fairy Moon for my image and printed onto white card - of course, my printer decided to have a tantrum so the image came out a very faded, washed out shade - so out came the black promarker which I used to colour the whole image (note to self: next time don't print on glossy card lol it doesn't colour as smoothly!) I then outlined the image with glitter glue, matted it onto a piece of black card, then embossed a piece of white card with my dots folder, and added more glitter to the embossing! Added a silver spotted ribbon and the flowers (from my stash - ribbon came from a market stall, flowers were from poundland), bit more glitter on the flowers and some holographic card candi and bingo! quick, simple but hopefully effective!!!!

Crazy Challenge - Vintage

This week's sponsor over at Crazy Challenge is The Stamping Boutique and the theme for this week is vintage. Well, there were some great images to work with, but despite absolutely loving the vintage look it's certainly not a strong point of mine, as I'm sure you can tell!!!

I chose First Dance for my image, coloured it with promarkers then added a layer of glossy accents - which seemed a good idea until it came to taking a picture and then I've struggled to get a decent pic without glare! The papers, flowers and ribbons are all from my stash!

This week's sponsor is Floppy Latte Designs
and this is the beautiful inspiration picture, which I'm sure will have the creativity overflowing with all the pretty colours and imagery :D

After much deliberating I chose one of the 'floral frames' from Floppy Latte, coloured the image with promarkers and added a few die cut flowers (from a large mixed bag I bought from one of the pound shops) along with some ribbon and gems (also a pound shop special!) The pink flowery paper is from Papermania's 'Parkstone Pink' collection, butterfly toppers are Anita's Pearlescent Butterfly Toppers and peel off sentiment also 'Anita's' from the latest Docrafts goody bag - the perfect excuse to play with my new stash of goodies :D

Just Inspirational Week 10

This week's sponsors were Whoopsie Daisy Designs and the beautiful picture below was the inspirational picture.
I was spoilt for choice with the images kindly donated to us by the sponsors as I am a bit of a fairy fan, but haven't made a card with fairies in a while.
I coloured the image with promarkers and used Stickles and Kars glitter glues for the sparkle, the starry paper is from Papermania's Midnight Fantasy, holographic patterned card behind image is Kanban (I think, been in my stash a while lol) Ribbon, peel offs and flowers from my stash!

Just Inspirational Week 9

Hope everyone's had a great holiday season! It seems like forever since I've blogged lol but had a mad month with sorting Mum's funeral and christmas etc - its certainly good to be back to some kind of normality.
This week's sponsor on Just Inspirational Challenges is Limited Runs Digital Stamps. I used the picture chosen by Kelly to inspire my colour choices for the dragonfly image. It's not my usual card but I love how it's turned out, I really enjoyed making this and love the colour combo - definitely one I'll use again!
Papers, ribbons and embellishments are from my stash, images coloured with promarkers and of course stickles on the wings for that extra sparkle!!
